Our Meat

We are dedicated to supporting small-scale family farmers raising heritage livestock on pasture. Because they are committed to responsible, sustainable stewardship of our planet and humane raising and handling of livestock, they cannot rely on the commodity market for sales because their animals take too long to mature. That’s where we come in.

We believe in the nose-to-tail philosophy, which is why we use heritage pork – every part of the pig is used. On our end, Zeigler’s Sausages utilizes all of the heritage pork trimmings, which offer a delicious ratio of fat to meat. Heritage genetics are famous globally for their gastronomic attributes and the pork we use is pasture-raised on a vegetarian diet, antibiotic-free, using traditional farming methods.

Our heritage pork trimmings are ground, then seasoned with our proprietary blend of spices, mixed and individually stuffed into all natural pork casings.

    Coming Soon! Bold with the flavors of Mexico, this south of the border specialty is one of our absolute favorites. Its intense flavors wake up the taste buds without overwhelming the palate. Remove from casings and cook in a skillet or pan fry links. Serve scrambled with eggs, as a substitute for ground beef in tacos, burritos, chili and more.

    This is your quintessential morning sausage, perfect alongside pancakes or stacked with a fried egg on a flaky biscuit. A twist on our original Fresh Breakfast Sausage, we added Grade B Vermont Maple syrup for a not-to-sweet, but incredibly delicious flavor. Try it with some Siracha for a spicy kick. (Bonus: kids love it!)

    We offer a fennel-based Sicilian recipe that is sure to please the most discerning of palates. With just the right amount of heat, this sausage is great on the grill, servedin a soft hoagie bun topped with a strip (or two) of mustard, sautéed onions and green peppers. Used on pizza or added to your favorite spaghetti sauce or pasta dish, the possibilities are endless.

    Commonly referred to as “Polish Sausage” due to its country of origin. Typically smoked, Zeigler’s Kielbasa is the fresh, uncooked variety predominantly flavored with garlic and our original blend of spices. Breath mints highly recommended
